Animal Adoption in Eugene, Springfield, Lane County: Finding a Home

Greenhill Humane Society

Dezzy is a happy and sweet 4 year old girl looking for a family who will give her lots of love and adventure. Dezzy is a party animal who will need daily exercise, training, and mental stimulation.

It is a pit bull mix that weighs between 65 and 70 pounds.

She is very motivated by food and eager to learn. Once she trusts you, she’s yours forever. A staff member said: “Love this little land hippo! She has the cutest trot when she’s horny and always has a smile on her face. She got up very quickly and as long as her new family is committed to positive reinforcement training, she will excel in her manners.

Dezzy would thrive in a home with older children so they could help him with the training process and help him burn off his energy. She would be happier in a house without a cat, because she might be too curious. It’s unclear how she would do with another dog, so she should meet some friends at the shelter before returning home.

If you are interested in adopting a dog or want to learn more about adding a dog to your family, call the Greenhill Humane Society.

Greenhill Humane Society is open daily from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at 88530 Green Hill Road. Cat adoptions are done on a first come, limited capacity basis. Adoptions of dogs and small animals are by appointment.
