WEST WINDSOR – The world’s largest veterinary network will soon open in West Windsor.
Banfield Pet Hospital will open its new location this weekend, with a grand opening ceremony tomorrow at its new site in Nassau Park. The celebration will include refreshments, contests, giveaways, an “Ask-the-Vet” segment and hospital visits, according to a statement released by the company.
“At Banfield, we are proud to provide our exceptional care to the pets of the Princeton community,” said Dr. Corey Zatuchney, chief of staff of Banfield of Princeton, in the statement. “Banfield’s emphasis on preventative medicine helps keep pets healthy and happy.”
Partnering with PetSmart for the opening event, the hospital will donate 20% of its opening weekend revenue, split evenly among local animal welfare and adoption organizations Animals in Distress Inc. , Stray Catz Inc., Animal Allies and Bordentown City Cats Inc.
Banfield offers a full range of veterinary care, the release said.
The West Windsor location at 111 Nassau Park Blvd. will be open Monday through Saturday, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., and staff vets include Zatuchney and Dr. Carol-Anne McPeek.
Founded in Portland, Oregon, in 1955, Banfield has since added more than 800 hospitals to neighborhoods across the country, currently employing more than 2,600 veterinarians.
