Hundreds Gather at Mohawk Chevrolet for Pet Adoption Clinic – Saratogian

BALLSTON SPA, NY – Mohawk Chevrolet recently welcomed hundreds of community members to its dealership recently for Mohawk Auto Group’s second in-person pet adoption clinic of the year.

The Capital Region shelters were scattered throughout the lobby, service aisle and outdoors to showcase adoptable dogs, cats, reptiles and birds to potential owners.

“Our Mohawk Chevrolet employees are committed to giving back, especially when it comes to dogs, cats and other pets,” said Travis Horne, General Manager of Mohawk Chevrolet. “We are grateful to all of our local shelters, organizations and volunteers for their willingness to participate.”

“Saratoga County Animal Shelter has had great success every time we attend a Mohawk Auto Group Pet Adoption Clinic,” said Karlianna Russell, Public Relations Coordinator, Saratoga County Animal Shelter. Saratoga County. “…we brought three dogs and 12 cats who were up for adoption. We had a good turnout from interested people, so we are delighted to have these pets in happy homes.

Last April, Mohawk Auto Group held its first in-person pet adoption clinic since the Covid pandemic. This event took place at Mohawk Honda in Schenectady.

During the height of the pandemic, Mohawk Auto Group held virtual adoption clinics. Through in-person and virtual clinics over the past few years, Mohawk Auto Group has placed hundreds of pets into new homes.
