Dozens of adorable rescue dogs and cats will be up for grabs in a pet adoption campaign held Thursday at a Long Island jewelry store.

The annual ‘Champions for Charity’ event at London Jewelers’ Manhasset store will help adorable doggies, including Yorkies, Labradors and mutts, find homes for fur.

“There will be beautiful little dogs
and a wide range of mixed breeds, ”said Candy Udell of London Jewelers, who partnered with the Rescue Paw Foundation for the event.

There will also be cats for adoption, as well as plenty of pet accessories and artwork for sale, she said.

“I have an artist who is going to order a sculpture of your dog, and I am going to eat some good food,” Udell said.

The event saw a substantial increase in activity during the early stages of the COVID-19 pandemic, when many people purchased dogs.

On the vacation-centric walk, 25% of jewelry purchases will go to the Rescue Paw Foundation, which is dedicated to matching dogs and cats with loving New York City families.

Last year, the association helped dogs, including terriers and Shih Tzus, leave wild lives behind amid increased demand for pets fueled by COVID-19.

Pet Fun will be unleashed at 2046 Northern Blvd in Manhasset from 4:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday.
