Status: Passed
Age: 9 years old
Breed: Chihuahua Mix
Male gender
Adult size: small (35 lbs and under)
Weight: 7.5 lbs.

Coco didn’t expect to be house hunting at this age, but sometimes life throws a curveball. Do you need a new devoted friend?… Meet Coco. He is good with people and friendly and playful with dogs of all sizes.

Coco is an inside/outside guy. He enjoys walks outside and is currently potty trained to go out or use sanitary napkins. He’ll sit down to rub his tummy, and if you stop too soon, he’ll remind you that he still needs love, patting your hand. At the ripe old age of 9, there will be no chewed up shoes to worry about.

If you prefer your dogs in smaller packs and think age is no barrier to love, then Coco might be the one for you. Due to its small size, Coco is best suited for families with older children. Coco will need daily eye medication.

If you would like to meet Coco or one of Harrison’s Pet Rescue’s other dogs or cats, you can find out more about the adoption and fostering processes, email ([email protected]) or call (914) 835-3332. The shelter is located at 7 Harrison Avenue in Harrison. You can also volunteer at the shelter.
