St. Petersburg’s River Street Market in Old Town hosts pet adoption event

PETERSBURG – The River Street Market Dog Days of Summer takes place this Saturday. Three local shelters will be on site with furry friends in the hopes of being adopted.

“We are very happy to be able to host this event again to help these animals find a home during this stressful time,” said Cheryl Bursch, River Street Market Manager.

There will be puppy cakes and prizes with each adoption, and participants can purchase a raffle ticket to win a marketplace gift certificate.

Live music will be played as you shop from over 30 vendors selling produce, plants, eggs, honey, local meats, baked goods, jewelry, soaps, and more.
